ADVENT SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Christian Education Committee is offering ways to consider the Advent Season with 'Elements of Advent'. This 4 week series will help you in thinking about the season in intimate and faith-filled ways.
November 28 - Make your own Advent wreath and learn about its purpose and symbols.
December 7 - Learn all about 'Creches' as we enjoy those put on display by our own members for our Nativity Festival
December 14 - Music and a discussion about Shepherds
December 21 - Music and a discussion about Angels
TIMES OF PRAYER
Join us in the Sanctuary on the following Wednesday evenings at 5:45 for a sharing of scripture and prayer

ADVENT DEVOTIONAL
SPECIAL ADVENT OFFERING FOR DEEP ROOTS
During Advent, our time of preparation and waiting, the Deacons are sponsoring a weekly gift-giving of needed items for Deep Roots. Deep Roots is a community shelter near Elkton, Maryland, a mission of our Presbytery. Each Sunday in Advent we are asking members of our congregation to bring a gift from the list below:
November 30 - Paper Products: Towels, Napkins, Toilet Paper, Foil, Plastic Wrap
December 07 - Shampoo, Baby Shampoo, Diapers, Wipes
December 14 - Dish & Laundry Soap, Bleach, Disinfectant, Cleaning Supplies, Trash Bags (33 and 39 gallon)
December 21 - Canned Food, Coffee, Tea, Sugar
These gifts will be presented to Deep Roots at the end of Advent. Thank you for your caring and generosity!
