THE OVPC CHOIR - MUSIC TO OUR EARS

Kathy Rhodes, Director

Kathy has been a professional church musician for50 years and is following in both her father’s and grandmother’s footsteps. Her father has retired as a choir director and organist but still sings in the church choir. She has served in Methodist, Presbyterian and Episcopal churches.  She and her husband, Dennis have two children and three granddaughters. They moved here in
1999 from New Jersey (where most of my family still lives) and currently reside in Cedar Landing.  She left St. Martha’s Episcopal Church in Bethany Beach in 2012 after 13 years there as the Parish Musician where she directed the Chancel Choir and Bell Choir as well as serving as organist.

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!  Serve the Lord with gladness!  Come into his presence with singing! (Psalm 100: 1-2)
