Members and Friends of Ocean View Presbyterian Church,

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak we would like to share the following:

Out of an abundance of caution and strong recommendation from the New Castle Presbytery, worship services and all church related activities have been cancelled through the end of March.  Church leadership will continue to assess the situation and keep you informed.

The Ministerium has also cancelled all Wednesday Ecumenical Lenten Lunches.  Community organizations will still have the opportunity to meet at the church using their own discretion.

The church office will operate but will not be open to the public.  Please call to schedule an appointment to meet with Pastor Terry; no drop-in visits.  Any church related business can be conducted/scheduled through Lori LaPointe, our administrative assistant at (302) 539-3455 or office@ovpc.org

Our financial obligations remain in the midst of this disruption and we appreciate your continued support.  Regular contributions may be mailed to the church or dropped off at the office during normal office hours. 

Although formal worship has been suspended, we encourage you to visit our website (www.ovpc.org) for worship opportunities.  Pastor Terry’s sermons will be available online by 10:00 am Sunday thru the end of March.

Each of us is a child of God and our bonds remain deep and lasting, so our loving ministry will continue in every way possible.  Should you need pastoral care or simply a visit, please reach out to Pastor Terry, an Elder or a Deacon.
